Okay it was the spring of 1989 or ninty.
I'm not sure, but I had gotten expelled from high school few months earlier and through an act of sheer persistance I managed to get enrolled at Cardoza high school in D.C.. Although I missed a few weeks when I finished the year my G.P.A. was still above a 3.0. Which made me eligible for an engineering program at Howard University. It paid for nine weeks so I was all in.
On the first day, I went to the orientation and she was there. We talked breifly during a break or something and I wondered if I ever would see her again. I was involved with a girl at school and I wasn't into cheating so I kept the conversation friendly.
That should be enough to collect my winnings. Check the records!
